I was born from Italian parents in Switzerland where I completed a Masters and Doctorate (PhD) degree in Zoology and in Tertiary Education, always having a great passion for marine life and nature in general. In Australia I completed a degree in visual communication as a scientific and wildlife illustrator.
Even though I did not live close to the sea I was always involved in marine issues, travelling a lot and working above all for conservation organizations. My love for detail, my passion for nature is, I think, reflected in my work.
Being so actively involved in conservation in Switzerland and worldwide, I have not had the time to exhibit much of my work but you can look at it on this website. Some of my more recent art works are on my INSTAGRAM account: @biondo_illustrations
